The night your whole school gets matched.
Match drops every two weeks. No endless swiping.
Just one curated match and prompts that break the ice.
Started at UVA · Expanding Fall 2026
7:00 PM. Every Sunday.
Your whole campus checks at once.
Sunday, 7PM.
Your match drops.
No swiping. No scrolling. Chance picks one person for you — and shows you a list of everything you two already have in common.
Matched on you.
Not your best five photos.
Chance matches you on your personality, your interests, and what you're actually looking for right now — then finds your most compatible match on campus.
Start with games.
Not “hey.”
Every match opens with a game — new one every drop. You both answer, you both reveal at once. It's just a better way to meet someone than a blank message box.
Your first date,
already picked.
Real spots near campus, picked from what you both said you like. The easy first bite, something a little competitive, or a reason to get outside — pick one and go.
Built to get better.
Built from your quiz
Personality, values, what you want right now. The quiz isn't trivia — it's what the match is made from.
Learns from feedback
After each cycle, a quick rating. That signal makes the next one closer to perfect.
Gets better every cycle
Every two weeks, the algorithm knows more about what you're looking for. Match 3 is better than match 1. Always.

Questions, answered.
What is Chance?
Chance is a dating app built for one college campus at a time. Instead of endless swiping, your whole school gets matched at once: every two weeks you receive one curated introduction, with prompts and a different in-chat game each time to make the first message easy.
How does the matching work?
You answer a quiz about your personality, interests, and what you're looking for. Chance's algorithm turns those answers into a compatibility score and the specific things you and your match have in common. After each cycle you rate the match, and the next one gets closer to perfect.
When do matches drop?
Every two weeks, at 7:00 PM on Sunday, campus-wide. Everyone at your school finds out at the same moment.
Which schools is Chance on?
Chance started at the University of Virginia and is launching Fall 2026 at UVA, JMU, VCU, UNC Chapel Hill, Clemson, Tennessee, UGA, TCU, SMU, Texas Tech, UT Austin, Ole Miss, Tulane, Vanderbilt, and OU. If your campus isn't listed, join the notify list above.
Who can join?
College students who are 18 or older. Every account is verified with a valid college or university email address before you can match or message, so you know you're talking to someone at your school.
How do I get it?
Chance is available on iPhone through the App Store and on Android through Google Play. Students who want to launch Chance at their school can apply to be a paid campus ambassador.
Don't miss your campus's
next drop.
One match. Two weeks. No swiping.
